While Canadian rapper King Roti might be a new name to some on the scene, he has been hard at work in the music biz since 2006 and has released six mix tapes, four promo cd’s, five videos and four radio singles. King Roti is now ready to drop his latest track "Let’s Get Away," featuring Canadian R&B singer Kim Davis and produced by FONZ from Dramatic Trax.

When DesiHits! asked King Roti about his musical dreams and inspirations, he had this to say:
"I want to be the first worldwide recognized Desi rapper. I not only want to be known by my community but also by the rest of the world, I am a very versatile rapper; I rap about anything you can imagine from love to crime. I hit every angle, that’s what I think separates me from the rest of the upcoming artists. I would compare myself to a young T.I.; good with the ladies but still coming with the street respect."

And when we asked him about his intriguing stage name, Roti clarified: "When I was in high school I was always at the Roti restaurant across the street so whenever my friends were looking for me I would be there. One day my friend, who since has passed away, just started calling me Roti so when I started in music I thought there would be no better way to pay tribute to him then by keeping the nickname he had given me."
