President Barack Obama doesn’t take Diwali lightly! To make the festival of lights special this year, he invited the all-male a cappella group Penn Masala to perform at the White House.
Sachin Amrute, Dhruv Batura, Sagar Bhatt, Ankit Dhir, Samuel Levenson, Tarub Mabud, Nikhil Marathe, Bharat Moudgil, Mahesh Murali, Manoj Racherla, Vinay Rao, Harshil Shukla, Akshat Vaidya and Bhuwan Vashisht all showed up to sing their rendition of "Aicha."
And Obama was very pleased with the performance, praising the "creative energies of musicians like the singers Penn Masala." The group was created in 1996 and is the world’s first Hindi a cappella group.
So check out the video of Penn Masala’s performance at the White House and tell us what you think; did they deliver on Diwali? Drop us a line!

Wow, some of those members of the group are such stereotypical indian guys.....
so happy that Obama was present!
The several of singers' voices made me shiver. Nice sound altogether.
