Some may argue that he doesn't have the killer good looks of say someone like John Abraham (others like me would completely disagree!) and some may say he doesn't have the best live performances, but there's no denying, Jay Sean is a bonafide star and we can't get enough of him!  So what is it about him that has us hooked? 

First and foremost there's no doubt Jay Sean's music is the first thing that caught my attention.  Way back in the days of 2003 when he first made his hair-tastic debut in 'Dance With You,' he didn't have the hot body and slick sense of dress that he has now, but I still fell for the boy from Hounslow because of the music.  Jay Sean's collaborations with Rishi Rich in those days made us fall in love with the east meets west, hip hop with Desi beats music.  For his latest album, 'My Own Way,' he left those days behind and unveiled his sexy R&B avatar, leaving behind Rishi, hip hop and Desi beats, creating a solid R&B album that made him an international star. 
Second has to be Jay Sean's down to earth charm.  When his sophomore album finally hit stores in May, Desi Hits! held Jay Sean week to celebrate, and he sent us daily diary updates of the busy week he was having with the release of the album.  He won even the harshest critics over with his hilarious, creative and charming videos.  Jay Sean's charm is undeniable and it comes from the fact that he is just himself, plus knowing how to work the media doesn't hurt!

Okay, so I'm not going to lie here, Jay Sean is hot!  He may have been a hairy, baby faced, spikey haired boy when we first laid eyes on him, but when he was gearing up to release his second album he debuted his new buzz cut and brand new six pack abs!  Plus a new slick wardrobe from D&G and a newly waxed body all created a slick new look that had all the ladies swooning!

With Jay Sean now getting signed to Cash Money Records in the US, and recording in Miami gearing up for the Spring US release of his album, seems like it's only a matter of time before the US too discovers the appeal of Jay Sean!
