Will Smith is set to wow holiday audiences once again with the release of his new film, Seven Pounds. The movie, which comes from the same people behind Smith's 'The Pursuit of Happyness,' is based around a guilt-stricken Ben Thomas (Will Smith) who is trying to find redemption from his past. In his quest, Thomas meets and falls in love with a young woman played by Rosario Dawson. Dawson's character may be the final key in helping Thomas to break away from his past and move into the future.

Gabriele Muccino will once again direct Smith. We first saw these two team up in Will Smith's Oscar-nominated performance in 'The Pursuit of Happyness.' Smith's performance of the down-and-out Ben Thomas is already creating some serious Oscar buzz. The film, which also stars Woody Harrelson and Barry Pepper, best known for his role as Pvt. Daniel Jackson in 'Saving Private Ryan,' is set to be released December 19, 2008. Hopefully this will be yet another hit on Will Smith's already impressive resume.
