The latest news suggests that the director is heading to Paris to direct a musical there. He will be directing a musical opera on a grand scale for the Theatre du Chatelet. Bhansali will leave for the city of love early next year and will be there from January to March in 2008. The opera company Theatre du Chatelet has invited Bhansali to direct the opera which is based on the script written by a French writer from 1920s.
