‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaya’ is directed by Madhureeta Anand and stars Randeep Hooda, Raima Sen, Arbaaz Khan, Ashwini Khalsekar, Eka Kumari Singh, and Suhasini Mulay. ‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaya’ revolves around the character Maya, played by Raima Sen, who lives in Delhi.

Maya is married to Vikram, played by Arbaaz Khan, and the couple has one daughter together, Priya. Maya’s entire life is revolved around her family. In the span of one evening, Maya’s entire family-centric life is shattered. She overhears Vikram talking to another woman and discovers that he has been having an affair.

This results in a chain of events and Maya realizing how suffocating her life with Vikram has been. Vikram had drastically lowered her confidence and self-esteem. He also discouraged her from following her dreams of one day singing. She devoted her entire life to Vikram and completely abandoned her aspirations to become a singer.

While conversing with her neighbor Mrs. Mathur, Maya conjures up her ideal fantasy man and names him Jai. Jai becomes a recurring character in all of her dreams and helps her to regain her depleted confidence. He eventually inspires her to follow her dreams of becoming a singer. With the help of her neighbors and a young band, Maya embarks on an incredible journey to realize her life-long dream.
