The two actors/ producers bonded at the Cannes film festival this year in May and met again in Paris last week where Saif was accompanied by girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor, to attend a party hosted by an international watch brand.

Reliable sources tell us more, ‘The two had an intellectual discussion on Indian and international films. The actors expressed a desire to make a film together, which Saif wants to produce. At one point, the two of them were even seen cracking up over a joke. Adrien has been to India before to shoot for The Darjeeling Express, but has yet to watch an Indian film. He told Saif that he'd like to see Agent Vinod when it's complete.’

Though the meeting in Paris was a casual one, both have remained in touch via email, and in true filmy style, Saif has invited Adrien to come stay at his ancestral home, Pataudi Palace when he next visits India.

Sounds like a dream come true, and if all goes to plan, Saif Ali Khan will be one of the first producers to make a film with a Hollywood producer.
