Oh what an evening! It was all about the Big B, and some of the best of Bollywood came out to show their love for the shahenshah himself, Amitabh Bachchan! The legendary actor was honored at the inauguration of the art institute, Osian's Publishing and Design House. In celebration of its opening the insititue published Bachchanalia- the films and memorabilia of Amitabh Bachchan.  Amitabh Bachchan was all smiles as he was presented Bachchanalia at the splashy event.

The inauguration which was held at the Tata Theatre inside of the NCPA at Nariman Point, Mumbai.  Superstars like Aamir Khan showed up to honor and greet the Big B. It was a treat for the shutterbugs when Aamir Khan hugged and greeted Amitabh Bachchan. Of course the entire Bachchan family was present to join the festivities. Amitabh Bachchan's son, Abhishek Bachchan and beautiful daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan watched happily as Amitabh Bachchan expressed his appreciation for Bachchanalia. Jaya Bachchan and his daughter Shweta Nanda were also at the event

Just when everyone was wondering about the absence of Amitabh Bachchan's dear friend Amar Singh, the politico walked in and joined the family. Mani Kaul and Aamir  Khan had the audience in splits as they shared interesting anecdotes about  the Big B. Amitabh Bachchan was at his wittiest as he interacted with the audience. Manoj Bajpai, Bhanu Athaiya, Kalpana Lajmi, Lalitha Lajmi, Seema Biswas, Kelly Dorjee and Rituparna Sengupta were some of the others who seemed to be immensely enjoying the do. But one person who looked disappointed at the event was Rahul Mahajan who was all set to give out media bytes but nobody took any notice of him. Also spotted at the event was yesteryear actress, the stunning Zeenat Aman. Looks like the world can't get enough of Bollywood's true don, Amitabh Bachchan!
