Sonam Kapoor is definitely daddy's little girl and her father Anil Kapoor just can't say no to his lovely daughter. So it is no surprise to us that when she asked him to make a film based on her favorite Jane Austen novel, "Emma", Anil Kapoor readily agreed. Since the entire concept was Sonam Kapoor's idea, she will be the one who will play the role of Emma in the film, which probably thrilled the Jane Austen fan. "Only she can play the character convincingly," said Anil Kapoor about his daughter who will be seen next in "Delhi 6" along with Abhishek Bachchan. Although Sonam Kapoor loves the book and has probably read it more than once, Anil Kapoor is still a little biased in his opinion. Sources say that Rajshri Ojha who worked on the film "Chaurahen", will direct Anil Kapoor's version of "Emma", since Sonam Kapoor loves the director so much. It will be interesting to see whether Anil Kapoor comes up with his own modern rendition like Anurag Kashyap did with "Dev D" or if he will stay with the traditional period story. Either way it will be an interesting concept and attempt for the Bollywood film industry to try on a British story from the 1800s. What is obvious is that this venture is entirely because Anil Kapoor loves his daughter and wants to do something for her. We can't help but wonder who else will be in the film. So what do you think about Anil Kapoor taking on this project for his daughter Sonam Kapoor? Do you think that it is a story that could be really great? Or do you think that it is something you will skip when it is released? Let us know your thoughts on Anil Kapoor's new film project!
