Asin, Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor Meet With 'Avatar' Director James Cameron in New Delhi

Hollywood big shot James Cameron was in New Delhi over the weekend, and guess who the Oscar winning director met up with? B-town’s own Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Asin! So does this mean that a Bollywood remake of Cameron's box-office hit "Avatar" will soon hit silver screens across the globe?

Well, not so fast. Aamir, Ranbir and Asin were not in town to discuss any specific projects with the famous movie maker, and James himself did not bring any scripts to show the Bollywood stars.

In fact, the three film lovers were actually in town to attend a summit on the theme of Reality versus Idealism in movies. Asin was invited to discuss how young actors like herself and Ranbir Kapoor, can work to avoid stereotypes in films and be more open-minded when it comes to portraying young people.

That must have been an honor for the young actress, and considering who was in the audience, a little bit nerve-wrecking! But we’re sure Asin pulled it off with grace and confidence!

James Cameron and Aamir joined Asin and Ranbir for the gala that was held after the summit where the "Titanic" director spoke alongside the "3 Idiots" star who also celebrated his 45th birthday over the weekend.

So will we soon see a Bollywood version of "Avatar" starring Asin as Neytiri, Ranbir Kapoor as Marine Jake Sully and Aamir Khan as Colonel Quaritch?

While we can’t say for sure what projects the four of them discussed, we have to admit that the thought of a B-town cast of blue actors is quite appealing and we can definitely picture an on-screen romance between Asin and Ranbir!

Maybe they can convince James Cameron to adapt the script and take it to a whole new level! Do you think there should be a Bollywood remake of "Avatar" and do you think Asin, Aamir and Ranbir are the right actors for the job? Drop us a line.
