One of the hottest Bhangra events in the US – Bhangra Blowout is going down this weekend with some of Bhangra’s biggest names at the moment like Bikram Singh, RDB, G Deep, and K.S. Makhan!

 
“It’s definitely a show you have to check out yourself at least once,” said Sonya Naganathan who handles promotions for the event.  It’s actually one of the biggest college Bhangra competition in the US held by George Washington University’s South Asian Society with 8 teams competing.  Plus this year is extra special as they’re celebrating their 15th year anniversary!

So for the first time ever they’re having two separate performances – one at the Bhangra Blowout Block Party happening from 12 to 4 on the campus quad with Bikram Singh and G Deep and the other at the actual show with RDB and K.S. Makhan. 

And the artists themselves are excited to perform as well… Manj from RDB said, “It’s always good to see the college crowd.”  Plus he says they’ll be performing new tracks from their upcoming album!  Not to mention it’s also Vaisakhi weekend so it’s a good way to celebrate with family and friends.  Hurry and grab your tickets before it’s too late!
