Bhangra Blaster Daler Mehndi now demands 5 Lacs 0r 500,000 rupees for a song. Daler’s in  defense of his hiked rates says that he has a 90% hit ratio for film songs. Seasoned singers like Shaan earn around 25-40 thousand rupees per song. Sonu Nigam's rates are sky rocketing as well. He charges Rs 2 lakh plus per song now.
