From Jay Sean making waves with his mainstream release to DJ Rekha performing on the "Late Show with David Letterman show," all things Desi are going mainstream right now. And DJ RajStar is no exception! RajStar is creating a stir this week on the mainstream scene! RajStar, along with DJ Eddie Stats, has released "Ghetto Palms Desihall Blend." The mix features music by A.R. Rahman, Vegas, Hard Kaur, and Pritam.

The original tracks have been infused with Punjabi beats and vocals. RajStar lends his talent on the production of the mix and the team has created something amazing. "Welcome to Jam Rock (RajStar Rahman Noodle Refix)" and "Pon De Floor (DJ Rekha and RajStar Remix)" are RajStar's productions.

DJ RajStar tells Desi Hits!, "The remix of Major Lazer's 'Pon De Floor' is going to be out for download any day now. [DJ] Rekha & I had great chemistry producing this record together and most of all a lot of fun, and you can hear it in the music. As for 'Welcome Da' and my forthcoming album, 'Rahman Noodles', I got so much love off of 'Jai Hov' and realized that it was the only song of its kind out there. So I decided to do a whole album like that. No one has heard anything like this before. Think of it as my 'Grey Album' and tribute to AR Rahman, only nothing at all like the 'Grey Album.'"
