Desi Hits! Exclusive: Britney Spears Desifys 'Till the World Ends'

Impressing the world by adding a Desi flair to remixes for Rihanna, Sean Paul and now Lady Gaga, Canadian trio, Culture Shock, has showed us how talented they really are. Now the group has teamed up with Desi Hits!, once again, to remix pop diva Britney Spears's single "Till the World Ends." As always Desi Hits! and Culture Shock is working with an artist who is intrigued by the Desi culture. So much so, that this is not Britney Spears first Desi remix. She previously worked with Urban Desi producer, Rishi Rich, to remix Indian beats into her track, "Me Against the Music." The songstress even rocked an Indian outfit while she performed to the remix during her 2009 Circus tour .

Britney's label, Jive records says, "We wanted to build an even greater connection between the world's biggest pop star and one of the world's largest audiences.  Britney has been engaged with South Asian culture for many years.  From the ground-breaking Bollywood-inspired remix of "Me Against the Music" to her recent collaboration with Indian fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock on the "Hold it Against Me" video, she has embraced the incredible sights and sounds of this vibrant community throughout her career.  It was obvious that Desi Hits was the place to go to further strengthen this relationship and reach out to her loyal fans in India and the Diaspora."

Culture Shock is just as excited to work with Britney, Baba Kahn from the group says, "Our goal was to take Britney's smash hit single and give fans a total Desi adrenaline rush. The result is a Culture Shock musical Desi roller coaster that hopefully everyone around the world will want to join."

The Indian flair on the track spices it up a bit, Sunny Brown from Culture Shock says, "To bring the Punjabi culture into the mainstream makes me proud of what the South Asian culture has accomplished in the last decade. To be one of the voices of this new age is flattering and inspiring."   Lomaticc from Culture Shock says, "To live up to the original and exceed all expectations is the scariest part of doing these remixes."  Hopefully the remix will exceed all expectations."
