Born in Canada and raised in France, Abbas is being called a French singer, but he is also fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.  Living in a country rich with culture and arts, Abbas always dreamt of being a star and socialite of sorts.

We caught up with Abbas to get his thoughts on his track Sona and his career.  The artist told us, ""Sona is all about the darker side of obsession or what happens when an obsession takes over you, that all consuming feeling. I wanted to tell that story through the song and visually through the video. As an artist I bring a different edge to the scene and it feels amazing to be working with the pioneers in Asian music. I want to shake stuff up with a fresh vibe and expose people to new perspectives, sounds, languages, and rhythms."  

With enthusiasm, Abbas and Rishi went straight to the studio where they are wrapping up Abbas' debut single "Sona."  In true Rishi Rich Productions fashion, the song has become a family affair as Mumzy Stranger is featured on the single. "Sona" melds English, Hindi, and French lyrics making this song one of a kind and something new on the Urban Desi scene.
