Nicole Scherzinger has been going Desi lately as her new track "Right There" got an Urban Desi remix by Culture Shock and a Bollywood one done by DJ Lloyd, courtesy of DesiHits!. Nicole said she "blasted the remixes in her car in L.A. and was really excited when she heard them".
The singer recently sat down with DH! host Anusha to talk about upcoming plans. Nicole told Anusha "I'm having a great time so far, all the singles have been well received, I'm having an amazing time promoting the songs on all the shows. I also just got a job on this show called X Factor in the U.S."
So how does Nicole feel now that she has parted ways with the Pussycat Dolls The singer told Anusha she had mixed feelings about leaving her girls. "We were this empowering girl gang. At the same time, I was born to perform, it's liberating to be able to do my own music."
As far as working with A.R. Rahman on the Jai Ho remix from the film Slumdog Millionaire, Nicole told us she can't wait to work with the award winning composer again. "I'm the biggest fan of, Nicole told Anusha, "It's fascinating to watch him work in the studio."
Back when Nicole was a Pussycat Doll, her and her group had the chance to wear Indian outfits designed by the famous designer RockyS. When asked how she felt in a sari Nicole said, "I must be part Indian or something, I felt at home with the outfit, it was one of my most favorite outfits I've worn on the red carpet."
Nicole lastly told DH! host Anusha she loves spicy food and her favorite dish is Chicken Vindaloo. The solo singer would also love to visit India one day!
