By now you have probably seen the beautiful 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto on the cover of the March issue of Vogue India, and if you haven't check it out!  While some may argue that she doesn't look her best on the cover, there's no denying that her meteoric rise to fame has catapulted her to become a fashion idol of sorts.  Every time she is seen out at an award show or party, the next day fashionistas are buzzing about what she was wearing.

Whether it's the lace cobalt blue John Galliano dress at the Academy Awards, the mustard/golden yellow Christian Lacriox haute couture dress at the Golden Globes, or the floor length chiffon-esque lilac Marchesa gown at the Screen Actors Guild awards, Miss Pinto is beginning to set trends.  Her fashion choices also extend to magazine covers such as the Vogue one, so we decided to break down some of her fashion choices for you!

The short flowy dress is actually made by luxury brand Louis Vuitton.  The black and gold dress is a cute choice for the petite Miss Pinto.  However, the cover doesn't really show off the dress's appeal. 

The gem necklace is made my Iradj Moini and while it's made of gems and jewels it's designed to look like a feather.  While the necklace itself is very pretty, it just doesn't match the dress.  A statement necklace should be worn with a simple dress so the focus is the necklace and not all over the place.
