'Ghajini' is out and it was definitely worth the wait! All the work that Aamir Khan put into looking as good as he did for his part paid off, but now it seems that Aamir Khan may be ushering in a new age for India and simultaneously commemorating himself in a new media format.
Eros International who are known for their entertainment work, in particular for the release of Bollywood DVDs, have partnered with FXLabs a PC and video game console company based out of India to release the country's first ever PC based action video game. We're all familiar in one way or another with third person action games which include Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, and Resident Evil, but this will be the first ever action game based on a Bollywood movie. From what we've seen, Aamir Khan's character Sanjay is very lifelike and he will take the player through different scenes which have been recreated from the actual film locations.
Aamir Khan has been really helpful with the creators of the game and has actually recorded his voice and some of his physical moves for the now highly anticipated video game and has even participated in the development of the game! Biren Ghose the executive director of Eros told sources "What better than an exciting film like Ghajini which stars one of the most pioneering and trendsetting actors...Aamir Khan to launch India's first 3-D PC game. We see the game as another cinematic frontier," and we at Desi Hits! excitedly agree. We can't wait to see how this game stands up to it's predecessors. We know that the game is definitely going to be an awesome new way for the film industry to join the gaming field to bring India closer to more and more exciting entertainment ventures.
