Married women all over India are just as hot as those who are not married and dying to show off their beauty as well as their skills. That's why there is a beauty competition that was created just for them.

The Gladrags Mrs. India final event took place on Saturday March 14th and introduced a select group of hot married women under the age of fifty from all walks of life. These women embody the characteristics of beauty, talent, as well as intelligence.

The Gladrags Mrs. India pageant is an important event as it is the only one which is specifically designed for married women. This marks the ninth annual Gladrags Mrs. India and brings a sampling of the most attractive married women together under one roof. As is customary, there were even some celebrities who stopped by to judge the hot competition. The Gladrags Mrs. India 2009 celebrity judges were Mahima Chaudhry, Neetu Chandra, Sonu Sood and Maureen Wadia, who is the president of Gladrags Beauty Pageants. They were sure to thoroughly question each of the contestants before choosing the finalists.

Sandhya Mridul also stopped by to give a show stopping performance. The glamorous affair had a lot of hopefuls, but in the end a young woman of twenty-six took home the crown for 2009.

Sophia Handa was the winner! Handa who is currently a housewife looked lovely in her dark red lengha with intricate gold embroidery on it.
