It's " I Heart Salim-Sulaiman Week,"  and we are going to featuring their top 5 tracks, and loads of content about them all this week in anticipation of their upcoming US tour. Composing hit tracks for over a decade Bollywood composer duo, Salim-Sulaiman are one of the most loved musical artists in India.  Their upcoming US tour that is going to happen early March, is stirring up a buzz in the states, so we thought it would be the perfect time to dedicate a full week to these superstars who have produced hit tracks for movies such as Pyaar Impossible, Rocket Singh, Luck, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Fashion, Chak De India, Dor, and hundreds of other films.  

Salim And Sulaiman Merchant are brothers whose inspiration to become composers came from their father, Sadruddin Merchant who was also an artist.  Salim-Sulaiman have received several awards for their achievements including a Filmfare award in 2007 for Best Background Score Award; Krrish  and an IIFA award in 2005 for  Best Background Score Award; Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.   
 

The fame , accomplishments and talent that Salim-Sulaiman have, made them the perfect artists to create remixes for American pop star Lady Gaga's tracks, Judas and Born This Way.  In 2011 Salim-Sulaiman teamed up with us and Lady Gaga to create Bollywood remixes of her tracks.  The remixes were well received and Salim-Sulaiman received global recognition for their work on the remixes.  Salim-Sulaiman have also worked internationally with artist  Loyiso Bala  for the  2010 FIFA World Cup anthem , the track is entitled, "Africa, You're a Star."  Currently, Salim sits on the judging panel of The X Factor India alongside iconic singer, Sonu Nigam, and  Bollywood  filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Salim-Sulaiman have been praised by several distinguished artists including Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan who said  " ( Salim and Sulaiman are)The most inspiring music directors I have ever worked with."   Because of their talent and accomplishments,  we heart Salim-Sulaiman.
