It's time for Sweden and India to come together! AVICII aka Tim Berg has become an international sensation with his hot electronic dance sounds and most recently for his track 'Levels' that I still have on repeat!

Today, we have learned AVICII will be collaborating with Sonu Nigam! So how did duo come together? Sonu Nigam said this in a statement, “Electronic dance music is today an extremely popular genre and I personally love it! So when Universal Music approached me to collaborate with Avicii, who is one of the Top rated EDM DJs in the world, I had to do it! At just 24, it’s amazing what he's achieved and "Levels" is a global hit" 

Sonu Nigam has of course worked with mainstream artists like Britney Spears in conjunction with DesiHits! so I'm not completely surprised AVICII has chosen Sonu to create a Hindi version of 'Levels'.

The electronic music sensation just returned from India according to his twitter and had this to say about him and Sonu working together, " I’ve been hearing so much about `Bollywood’ music that I just love the idea of merging the #1 voice of Bollywood with high energy `house’ music. I think the results of this project will prove fantastic indeed! I can't wait to finish it."

More on the song itself, Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director, Universal Music, India, said this about the singers coming together as one, "At Universal Music we are lead managing the publishing of electronic music in India & we are proud to kick start this, a collaboration between the #6 DJ in the world Avicii & our very own Sonu Nigam."
