Janina Gavankar is an American Indian actress who has appeared on such shows as 'Girlfriends,' 'Strong Medicine' and 'The L Word,' in addition to the indie film, 'Bull Run.'  She was also a part of the pop group Endera that was signed to a subsidiary of Universal Records!  Sounds like this girl knows what she's doing with her career!  Well now Janina Gavankar is all set to star in an episode of CBS's popular United States Navy crime drama, 'NCIS'!  The episode is about one of the characters of the show getting stuck in women's prison and what ensues from there.  Janina Gavankar plays a tattooed, rough neck inmate who's involved in the trouble!  Ahh... what a way to make the family proud!
