All actors hope for the opportunity to play roles that prove their ability to act diverse characters, but Ranbir Kapoor is taking this interest a bit too far. It's great that he has these opportunities, but Ranbir dear you must understand that each role has to be a good fit for you. Playing a young romantic in "Saawariya" made you look good and even your character in "Wake up Sid" worked well with your naturally boyish appeal, but why "Rocket Singh: Sale man of the year?"
Instead of making jokes to the audience you are about to become the joke. Ranbir, you are not a comedian, why try to act like one? As if this outrageous role choice isn't enough, now the actor says he is channeling Charlie Chaplin for his next flick, "Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani." Really? Not everyone can play Charlie Chaplin. As talented as Ranbir Kapoor may be, he just doesn't have the look to pull it off.
It is too early in your career to be making these drastic moves! Let the public get to know you better and then take these daring chances. This young actor needs to learn from industry greats like SRK and even his father who didn't try comedic roles until they were more established in their career. Ranbir babe, I love you, but listen to me and choose those roles carefully!
