Ah, isn’t this just lovely? Former item Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, who broke up in 2007 after a three year long relationship, are no longer exes that avoid each other at all cost!

After having snubbed each other at various celebrity events and pretended that the other party wasn’t there, Kareena and Shahid have finally met eye to eye and even talked, all the while smiling!

So what is going on? Well we hear the peace accords were signed thanks to Karan Johar! The former lovers both showed up at Shahrukh Khan’s party for his box-office hit "My Name is Khan" the other day, and if it hadn’t been for Karan, the two would have just gone about their usual ways and ignored each other.

But this time was different. Karan made sure Bebo and Shahid spoke for a while and as soon as they were a little bit more at ease, Kareena’s current beau, Saif Ali Khan, also came to say hi!
