Kiran Thappar is only 22, but this gorgeous gal has already won the Miss India title in 2007!  Though she didn't take home the big title, she did win the title of Miss Femina Most Beautiful Eyes!  The pageant turned out to be a star studded affair as Lara Dutta performed and Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and director Subhash Ghai were part of the judging panel. 

Kiran Thappar is originally from the sunny beaches of Goa and was also second runner up in the Miss Goa contest, as well as Miss University and Navy Queen.  She then moved to Mumbai for her studies, attending Mumbai University.  After becoming Miss India though, many more doors opened up for the beach going beauty.  She's gone on to become a full time model and work in TV commercials.  Plus, we hear she's a very independent girl, living on her own.  She loves to cook and travel and kickboxing is her favorite sport, guess you don't want to mess with her!

With all the accolades and exposure, we think it's only a matter of time before Kiran Thappar makes her debut in Bollywood!  She'd have some pretty great company as past beauty pageant winners include, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Diya Mirza, and of course the most famous beauty queen of all, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.  So question is, what kind of film should Miss Kiran make her debut in?  Should it be a huge banner opposite a massive actor like, Shahrukh Khan or Akshay Kumar?  Or should she do an art house film, maybe a Rituparno Ghosh film or perhaps a Tamil film first to get her footing in the film world.  Either way, with those piercing eyes, we think she'd make a big splash in Bollywood!  Let's just hope she has her eyes set on Tinsletown!
