It’s been announced as "the biggest ever entertainment extravaganza" in India and with stars like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar performing, how could it not be?

But "Cintaa Superstars Ka Jalwa" is also about making a difference in people’s lives as the show will raise funds for Cine & TV Artist Association members who will receive a "welfare facility, medical services, rehearsal halls, and preview theatres," according to a statement.

Co-produced by Sohail Khan, the idea of the show is to enrich "the lives of cine artists and providing quality content to the viewers," by taking them back to the "golden age of Indian cinema."

And who could possibly better put on a performance worthy of this entertainment extravaganza than Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan?

The four actors and dancers spent some time at Mumbai’s FilmCity on Monday to record dance sequences and performances for the show and they were all happy to be there as in a way, the four B-town big shots have India’s movie industry to thank for their success and wonderful careers through the years.

"I am very happy to be here and be a part of this spectacular event that will not only entertain the audience but will also encourage a noble cause. I have been a part of Bollywood for over 20 years now and I owe every bit of my success to this industry," Salman said in a statement.

"Through this show, I want to express gratitude to the cine artists and do my bit in raising funds for the welfare of CINTAA members," he added.
