The determination to make lives better through the power of music is what has led musicians to team up with Project Ahimsa, an organization that reaches out to underprivileged children around the world who have been surrounded by violence.  Musicians have recently gotten together to create an album entitled "Global Lingo".

This album is comprised of tracks from artists of multiple backgrounds. This variety brings each artist's style onto the project to create a unique sound. Proceeds from the album will go towards Project Ahimsa who will use this revenue to support music educators in underprivileged areas around the world.  The proceeds will also help the organization donate musical instruments to these places and set up programs in art and culture there as well.

The album features a range of musical genres from Urban Desi to Electronica, Hip-Hop and Reggae.  Urban Desi artists that can be heard on the album are Mandeep Sethi, Tablapusher, and DK+dimsummer.   “Global Lingo” is available for purchase on iTunes.  The album is currently #8 on the iTunes Reggae Music Charts.
