One of our favorite and most well deserved fellow desis, Norah Jones, is set to release her third and most personal album, ‘Not Too Late.’ This half Indian and half American next gen desi is an eight-time Grammy Award winner….yup, EIGHT times! Unless you live under a rock, you’re already aware that she’s the daughter of Indian sitar maestro Ravi Shankar and half sister to Anoushka Shankar. Anoushka is a musician and grammy winner herself, but let’s face it, a lot less popular than her younger sis! Hmm, if Mr. Shankar was more of a playboy, it would be highly likely that his offspring would take over the Grammys. Her album will be released on January 30, 2007.
