Let me write some truths about this person. Everything you see is a front, and people who has experienced behind the scenes knows this. Here are the facts: 1) If it weren’t for Rishi Rich, Jay Sean would be Dr. Kamaljit Singh Jhooti. Rishi Rich discovered and developed this artist. It’s a shame that he doesn’t publicly give Rishi Rich credit in the media. 2) Jay Sean has always been a cocky bastard since Day 1 from years ago. Go ahead and youtube the 2point9 videos from years back. For all the promoters that booked him during his first ever leg tour in the US knows that. 3) He is a sell out. His first album was lyrically inspiring and has substance. Now his shit sucks – plus his video Down sucks ass well – what the hell is up with the glowing shit that flies all over the place. 4) Why Down reached up in the charts so quickly? Great business marketing tactic – invest thousands of dollars in buying your own single to promote yourself in the charts. 5) He will truly be a true South Asian crossover if the Indian music crossed over, which didn’t. If you look at other artists such as Wyclef, Sean Paul, Daddy Yankee, etc. – they bring their musical roots from their country – and made them popular. 6) All your female fans out there – Jay Sean is married. Yes he got married to Thara Natalie Prashad in August 2009 in NJ. Google – Thara Prashad and Nicky Jhooti – you’ll see a lot of wedding gift registration stuff. Plus you can check it out on the state registration records site. 7) Well we all know that his Indian fanbase were the one who brought him to where he is right now – so why does he hate performing in front of Indian audiences? Where am I coming up with this – he charges twice or three times as much and demands a lot more to an Indian promoter compared to a white promoter – and they make sure it’s an American gig and not and an Indian gig. 8) Jay Sean is the biggest narcissistic person I ever seen and met. He takes pretty boy to another level – and dude needs to stop checking himself every friggin half hour. 9) Jay Sean is the whiniest person backstage – no joke. He’ll insult people out loud in front of their face – but not directly – he’ll do it indirectly by bitching out loud to his management. 10) Jay Sean is fake – he is a great actor that has a talent – but only a few people truly knows how Kamaljit truly is as a person. I respect Rishi Rich and totally understand where he's coming from when he says that.. I'd be pretty annoyed too. Okay, he obviously won't be mentioned in any U.S. articles since he's UK based, but he should at least get some sort of recognition when he's in UK Articles (the article in question was from This is London).
