The tweet that started it all might have been deleted now but a Twitter war was supposedly launched by U.K. producer Rishi Rich, who discovered R&B sensation Jay Sean, when he read an article about the "Down" star in the Evening Standard and didn’t see his name mentioned!
"It's funny I've jus read an artcle about someone who I developed and found. Not one mention of my name in this artcle. That's life . Peace," Rishi Rich allegedly tweeted, before deleting the tweet for unknown reasons.
The article in question is an interview with Jay Sean in which the R&B phenomenon talks about growing up in London and trying to make it in the U.S. "I didn't want to be a big fish in a small pond. There's a danger in that. So, you can walk around Hounslow and everyone knows who you are, and you feel like a big shot? Well, take a walk through Louisville, Kentucky, and see if anyone gives a shit about you. That's what I did to myself by going to America. I wanted to be in the home of R&B. If you perform country and western, you go to Nashville, don't you, not to flipping Reading?" he said.
But Rishi Rich, the man who discovered Jay Sean, is not mentioned anywhere in the interview so the producer took to Twitter to express his surprise!
DesiHits.com reached out to Rishi Rich but his team declined to comment. What do you think of this Twitter spat? A complete rumor or no fire without smoke? Share your thoughts.
