The Big B. romances Tabu in the upcoming release of "Cheeni Kum," a light hearted musical comedy (aren't all Bollywood movies musicals?) and no, your eyes haven't deceived you that IS a ponytail that he's sporting!

"Cheeni Kum" was filmed internationally, from Delhi to Dubai to London! DesiHits! has learned that it will be screened internationally as well. It's slated and ready to go to the respectful Cannes Film Festival on May 21st. From Cannes, this film will make it's way to Leicester Square in London for a special preview on May 22. Sixty something Mr. B, is going to ware out at this rate! The movie will release to the general public (that's YOU reading this), on May 25th.

The movie is of course, a love story, where boy meets girl, girl's father doesn't approve, girl wants to marry anyway. In this case, the boy (Amitabh Bachchan) is 64 year old, Buddhadev Gupta an arrogant, egoistic, pompous man with only one passion in his life, cooking! Hey, if men are going to be this way anyway, they might as well know how to cook!

The girl (Tabu), is Nina Verma, a 34 year old beautiful, charming, calm, independent woman who takes Buddhadev's breath away. Sweeet, no? Just one problem, her father is six years younger than Buddhadev, so of course he doesn't approve...would you?

This is the second movie this year where Big B has rocked the cradle... "Nishabd," he hooked up with 19-year old sex kitten Jiah Khan. Perhaps, by the time he's in his 70's, he'll catch up to leading ladies, like Madhuri Dixit... or maybe she's too old for him now?

These types of roles will get even the most gorgeous men in Bollywood jealous!!! Shreya Ghoshal, a DesiHits! favorite, is featured on the soundtrack for this movie and she doesn't disappoint! Her voice is tender and melodious and the tracks for the most part are bubbly, vivacious and well-orchestrated... her usual self!
