There's a new boy band on the block! British group The Wanted is taking the scene by storm! Formed in September last year,  the young and fresh boys in The Wanted recently released their debut single "All Time Low," but are already set to hit #1 on the U.K. charts this Sunday!

Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker, Nathan Sykes and James McGuiness have it all; good looks, smooth voices and diverse backgrounds. So why not a #1 single?

In an interview with British tabloid The Sun, The Wanted described Siva as "pretty laidback and really zen," Jay as "a bit of an indie-kid," Nathan as "dead dry and sarcastic."

Siva Kaneswaran, the boy band's super cute Desi member from Dublin, was excited about the opportunity to be in a boy band, but would have liked for his twin brother to share this experience with him, and we're sure girls across the globe would have liked that too!

"Our managment phoned up my agency and asked if I could sing. I have been singing for a while but I felt a bit bad as my twin brother auditioned too but didn't get in. He's chuffed for me though and there are no hard feelings" Siva told The Sun.

The Wanted's track "All Time Low" is not the typical boy band sound; it has elements of indie rock in it along with some funky dance beats, but the band doesn't complain about being labeled as a boy band:

"We're proud of being a boy band. We think it's one of those cycles, it's cool again. It's like saying to a footballer - do you mind if you're called a footballer? Of course you wouldn't because that's what you are. It's the same with being in a boy band," Jay told BBC.com.
