The music industry seems to be taking a hit this year with declining sales. Although Universal Music Group has released some big artists this year Keyshia Cole, they have pushed back the dates for some of the industry's biggest acts.  Universal maintains that it's due to their desire to make sure that the acts release the best material they can, however insiders in the industry say otherwise. The main hip-hop acts which will not be coming out with their new albums until 2009 are Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent, although Dr. Dre's album is currently set for release in January. Another big name artist who will not have a new CD on shelves until 2009 is U2.  Fans of the artist will undoubtedly wait anxiously for release dates and hopefully more information.
