U.K.'s version of "America's Got Talent" kicked off today with a huge start. The show had our very own Simon Cowell of "American Idol" fame as one of the main judges. The first act to appear on the debut of the show's third series was 59-year-old Manjit Singh also known as the "Iron Lion of Leicester" in the U.K. Working as a security consultant by day, Manjit Singh has the talent of having amazing strength in the most unusual places.
For his audition, he blew up a hot water bottle until it bursts and then finished with pulling a car with his ear. Now I don't know if you guys ever seen a hot water bottle blew to full capacity, but it looks to me that Manjit is a very gifted and talented person that the world shouldn't ignore to.
It looked like the hot water bottle was about to burst when Manjit was shaking from the effort and the judges were tense with anticipation, especially the look on Simon Cowell's face. I think they were half worried that he was going to get facial injuries as a result, but thankfully he didn't.
For his next act on the show, he amazingly pulled a minivan by attaching an iron clamp to his ear with a rope tied to a minivan.
Manjit was also in a documentary about his journey and the many acts he performed that earned him the international title of "Iron Lion". He was awarded the Guinness world record for his tremendous strength, endurance and will power to pull vehicles with small parts of his body like his ears and lungs.
Well, there you have it but now we ask you, do you think this Indian strongman has what it takes to win the audience and the judges in "Britain's Got Talent"? Give us your thoughts.
