Khagendra Thapa Magar from Nepal, the world's shortest man, just turned 18! Khagendra is only two feet tall and weighs 10lbs. Khagendra's hometown Baglung near Nepal's capital Kathmandu is proud of him and officials from his city are trying to get him into the Guiness Book of World Records. But when he was first born, his mother had a hard time accepting his fate.

"It was like watching a newly hatched chick fresh from a shell. I admit that at first I was ashamed of him and would not leave the house, but now I only feel pride and am desperate for him to be named as the tinniest man in the world," she said.

Khagendra recently celebrated his 18th birthday with a cake as tall as him! And what did he wish for on his big day? "Once I am named as the world's smallest man then I can fulfil my dream of visiting the United States of America," he said.
